I received a telephone call today from Duncan Strachan, who lives just north of Toronto. He stated that while golfing on Dolphin Island, in Mobile Bay, Alabama the golf course staff approached him about a tagged monarch #39548. This appears to be one of Dr. Urquhart's tags. Duncan went on to report that during this period of golfing (mid-February), he saw many monarch butterflies - and as two dozen at one time. Don Davis
