It is Thursday March 26th and the fourth grade students at Academy Hill in Wilton, Maine have been closely following the "Ice Out" reports coming from Artic Canada. We predict that their ice will not go out until late May. Based on our past history in this area, we predict that the ice will go out in mid to late April. On our local lake, Wilson Lake the ice is still quite solid, although in some places it is beginning to thaw along the edges.
