I saw the first monarch this morning at 11:15 am cst.
The monarch was flying just above ground level in an
easterly direction over an open field.
Wings were faded. I was in the field observing for
over an hour. The temperature was 75 degrees.
Winds were west around 5 mph. Skies were mostly sunny
with a few high clouds.
Hope to see more monarchs this afternoon.
