While working in the garden Sunday, I saw a butterfly which looked like a very small monarch, but I couldn't be sure. I was very surprised to see any kind of butterfly so soon. I also saw a bee also. While weeding dandelions, I "unearthed" many earthworms, which I quickly returned to the soil.
