On Wednesday the eighth I heard the first peepers of spring. The tempeture was around 65 degrees. They first came out when the sun got it's hotest (That was about early afternoon). The place that I saw and heard the peepers was in my back yard. I have what is called a Vernal Pool. All of the begining of new life starts there. The peepers make a lot of noise. If you here them you should know they are there. They make a peeping noise. They often live by dozons in a pond or Vernal Pool. They mate there and move out into the forest.
