Saw my first monarch from the third floor of the beach ouse at Topsail Island where we spent Easter BReak. It looked rahter tattered. My co-worker has seen monarchs throughout this mild winter in Wilmington, so I wonder if it is one from NC or has it returned from Mexico? I look forward to spotting the first one in Holly Springs. Last year I saw my first one here the week after Easter.
