When we left for spring break, our tulips were growing well but none of them had bloomed. We returned to school to see a beautiful display of yellow blossoms. But what day did they first bloom? We asked the custodian who checked the building every day. He said they bloomed on April 12, 1998, Easter Sunday! We will celebrate with a tulip festival later in the week.
