Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/21/1998

Number: 1

Many of us were dissappointed to discover that most of our tulips were chewed up AGAIN! 9 plants that had buds about to open were all chewed off the stem completely. 4 plants remain with buds that are closed. Ross had the only plant that was in full bloom and intact. 62 F degrees at our tulip site this afternoon and 70's predicted for the rest of the week!

We have been watching the growth of some tulips planted by other classes at our school in December and they are about ready to bloom this week too!
