The four of our 60 tulips bloomed on April 27. Our garden is situated on the west side of our building, approx. 15 feet from the door. It is partially shaded by the building. The tulips that did bloom were the ones that get the most sun. We are in a suburban area of a large metropolitan city, approx. 15-20 miles from Lake Michigan. The temperature has been cool - in the mid 40's. Our school is enjoying them!
