HI, My name is Beth Maxson and I attend Carleton Middle School.
Being the president of the Math Club, we orginized a tulip group,
to participate in the Journy North. We took about 12 bulbs. We first
planted about 3 in our school green house. The rest where separated
between the group to be planted at home. On 04/19/98 I realized the tulips
in my garden started to sprout. The next day I went straight to the green house.
They did not sprout yet. While mine still are, they have blomed and turned a
beautiful red color. I also have yellow ones too. Unlike everyone else and our
schools green house, the tulips I planted are the only ones that came up. I will
continue to take care of them and keep you updated on the growth of the tulips.
