It was a magnificent day. We were rehearsing outside by our completed butterfly garden for the dedication ceremony when the first monarch flew past us. It was quite an omen. The teachers as well as the students were totally shocked at its timing. Lucky I have about100 2nd graders and 5 teachers as witnesses or I wouldn't believe my eyes.
