I saw 2 monarch butterflies exhibiting courtship behavior: one was chasing the other upwards in a spiral pattern. I was too far away to actually see if it was a male and a female, but I am certain they were monarchs. It was a sunny day, around the 70's, and the time was about 3:15 PM Daylight Savings Time.
