I have seen one monarch so far. The individual was observed yesterday, Sunday May 17th in the eastern part of Michigan's upper peninsula just north of the village of Moran on Hwy M123. This female was observed ovipositing on small common milkweed plants. The butterfly was in very good condition. I was at Point Pelee Ontario the previous weekend and did NOT observe any monarchs while I was there.
