Elliot was walking home from school on Friday. His path took him by a newly planted soybean field. A fence line borders one side of the field. The Monarch was following the line in a lazy, dipping flight pattern. He was not able to identify it as a male or female. Beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the 80's.
