We have been waiting for our first sight of the Monarch to arrive in Northern Minnesota. We had noted to sighting in Rochester and the Twin Cities. Finally, three were sited in our school's butterfly garden. Since that time, numerous reposrts have come in from Vandyke Environmental Learning Center students. Now, with the end of school only one day away, the students will have the pleasure of looking for milkweed and eggs. I have told several to call through the summer if they have questions.
Thanks Journey North for the education and excitement of the Monarch Butterfly.
Sincerely,
