Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/15/1998

Number: 1

05/15/98

The 1st Monarch was probably May 15 and the
nearest town is Sherwood Park to the West and Tofield to the East.
The lake where the park is located (the sighting by our trailer which
is there year round) is Hastings Lake. Also - there is an enormous
flock of white pelicans there - about 300 feeding, not sure if
breeding there - and a group (odd to see grouped) of great blue
herons, about 36.
