We saw our first Baltimore Orioles, a male and a female, on 25
May, at Plage Pelissier, at the north end of Macgregor Lake, a large lake
near Perkins, Quebec. The male was singing and displaying. Perkins is
approximately 20 miles north of Ottawa and is part of the West Quebec
municipality of Val-des-Monts.
