Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/05/1998

Number: 1

We are already seeing many monarchs back on our milkweed. They are laying many eggs and the caterpillars are unfortunately
not living very long. I am concerned that it is too hot and that our strange lack of rain is causing them to die. I am going to start removing them from the bushes and raising them inside in the hopes of saving some of them. It is very early for their return.
