I saw one male monarch on a butterfly bush about 10:30 am. Later I saw 3 monarchs near the milkweed garden. I think these are from the larve I reported on 08/13/98. Their wings were bright. Temps were in the 80's with NE winds at 5-10 mph. Skies were clear. These are the first adult monarchs I have seen in my location since May 16.
