We have a pond and the Little Cahaba River at the school. We have nectaar sources for hummers and butterflies as well as host plants for butterflies in the area near the river. We have cover plants and foo plants for birds. The city of Leeds is designated as a bird sanctuary. We will put out the oriole feeders in the spring. I teach Gifted 1-5 and school-wide enrichment K-5.
