Blackeyed Susans and Purple Cone Flower seed heads already attracting Gold finches. Milkweed still blooming and attracting some butterflys but Butterfly Bush gets more activity.. More Tiger Swallow Tails than Monarchs in our Gardens so far this year.
Hummingbird feeders full of activity. Spotted a hungry cat in garden, hopefully it will move on.....(or go back home!). Seeds in Maple tree (helicopters) ripe and attracting squirrels. Fall asters coming into bloom with hopes of attracting more butterflies.
Looking forward to planting more bulbs next month!!
