Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/02/1998

Number: 1

Stan reports that the monarchs last day aggregating in his fir, hackberry, and green ash trees was this past Wednesday, Sept. 2nd.

He said the farmer plowed the hay field adjacent to his farm on Tuesday, and the monarchs left the next day. Makes you wonder just how important those fields with clover and alfalfa can be. The monarchs nectared in the field for a total 12 days.
