Monarch sightings in Nebraska. North Bend, Nebraska is located on the
northern most point of the Platte River, 50 miles west of Omaha and 50
miles north of Lincoln, NE. At recess this morning we noticed 18 monarch
butterflies in our school butterfly garden. This was the largest group we
have noticed this fall. Also noted were several swallowtails. 4th Grade
