We have seen over 50 caterpillars hatch on our milkweed and as many as 20 butterflies at one time. This has been one of the best monarch seasons we have ever had. We are hoping that some will remain again this winter for us to observe. The activity around the bushes seems to be slowing down somewhat but the last 3-4 weeks has been a butterfly lovers paradise!
