I gathered 3 catepillers from milkweed from Brant Lake, NY, and nurtured them for three weeks at my home in Norwalk, CT. The butterflies emerged from their chrysalises early this morning and we released them during our rebirth church service today. It was wondeful. Everyone "ooed," and applauded when they flew out of my hand.
