The fifth grade students in Mrs. Parlett's 2nd period class saw 3 monarchs flying south between 9:45 and 10:00. They were too quick for our nets!
During the 3rd period class we saw 2 more who also avoided being caught. They feed on the flowers in our butterfly garden, but they quickly fly out of reach when we try to catch them.
