Unfortunately, we had no Monarch butterfly sightings in our untouched milkweed patch all summer. I have seen no Monarchs this summer or fall. But other teachers have seen a few this summer but not in the numbers we are accustomed to. We had a very hot and dry summer which is still continuing into Fall. I hope this is an unusual occurance this year!
