Altus and I saw our first Monarch today since May. It was moving south near the boat ramp at the "head" of Lavaca Bay. We were checking shore and wading birds during the high tide and the Monarch was "checking out" some native wild flowers alongside the parking area. We tried to video it, but it would keep just ahead of us. Harlen and Altus
