Very few monarchs are being sighted here in the Lisbon area. Over the weekend (18-20th) only six were sighted and all were seen feeding in fields of alfalfa and clover. All were healthy looking; bright color and fat bodies. The weather during these three days included warm daytime temps. (in the high 80s) and warm nights (high 60s); very unusual for our area this time of year. The 18th and 19th saw little cloud coverage. The 20th was a very hazy day with thunderstorms in the late afternoon. Sighting breakdown 1 p.m. each day- 18th-0; 19th-2; 20th-4.
