We were a 3rd/4th class last year and are a 4th grade this year with 13 kids from the original class and 12 new 4th graders. Last spring we planed a butterfly and bird garden. We have lots of Monarch and black swallow tail caterpillars.
We have many tall sunflowers that we will let ripen and fall to feed birds, mice and prairie dogs.
We have a bird feeder in the garden and will add a drinking pool when it gets cold.
We have seen lizards and many bees. We've made a kind of filling station for creatures.
