Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/22/1998

Number: 1

My neighbor who lives two houses down in a house that also
backs to the same common ground as our house, said that this morning she was looking out her second story window and saw groups of monarchs passing
through quite quickly. She watched for about 15 minutes and estimates she saw about 50 butterflies total in groups of 3 to 10. She said she was impressed with how high they were flying (tree top level) and how quickly.
The temperature today was in the 60's, and it was sunny. I saw no monarchs
this evening.
