*Virginia, reports from S. Texas: Kickapoo Caverns State Natural Area,
Bracketville, 18 miles from Mexican border. "Since Sept. 23rd, they have
been drifting in the pasture, getting heavier every day. They are heaviest
on Rte. 674 between Bracketville and Rock Springs, a 60 mile stretch. They
come in waves; they are heaviest where there is water. There are one or
two vey large butterflies (of a different species) travelling with each
group of monarchs.
