Professor Joe Malloy of Sweet Briar College said that the other morning when the cold front came through he had hundreds of monarchs in his yard. He said they were amazing to watch they just came in on the wind and he thought, at first, that they were leaves falling as they landed on the ground. He said he watched them for a long time...he was pretty excited, first time he'd seen them like that.
