I saw a monarch butterfly in my backyard at about 5:00. The weather was cool and very humid. It was feeding on my mom's pinkish roses. It was rather large for a butterfly. There was a little bit of wind from time to time. Even though it was cool the sun was very strong. I hear less and less monarchs sightings in Tyler,Texas(where I live)everyday. I hope most of the monarchs make it through this year's incredible journey.
