The bats have migrated. They left two weeks ago. The baby eaglets , which we watched grow all summer are now rarely seen. The adults are ranging in the area, but do not return to the nest. The hummingbirds left witth the first pass of the geese and the first cold snap. The grouse hunting season has been very successful.
