Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/25/1998

Number: 1

Our school is a Math and Science School and we have developed some lovely butterfly gardens that attract many butterflies and golden finches. Our class has hatched 3 Monarch caterpillars and let the Monarchs go. We have 4 more worms that are about to form chrysallises. Last Friday, we walked by the butterfly gardens to see a swarm of Monarchs! There were probably 30 or more, stopping for a visit in our gardens. Needless to say, we were thrilled!
