Also, on 9/29/98 we observed 4 monarchs at once in our flower garden. We usually only see one a day if we are lucky. We saw them at 5:30 pm when the flowers were in full sun and it was about 75 deg F. I didn't notice what diction they flew off in. We got a close look, and they looked very healthy.
