Our class of second and third grade students at Russell Dougherty Elementary in Edmond, OK spotted seventy Monarch butterflies over the last week. Most of the butterflies were found on our playground. We have a new butterfly garden. The butterflies were flying south. Some of us are going camping this weekend and hope to see a lot more. We will be in the northern part of Oklahoma. We think it will be neat if we see them there and then when we come home we will wait to see them again!!!
