Also visited our
Lichterman's nature center here and my 8 and 6 year olds counted 8
monarchs. We were amazed at how many we saw and four were seen in
groups of two. This was on Sept. 25, a warm and sunny day. They all
looked fresh and strong.
We released our monarch which we raised from caterpillar on Sunday,
September 20 from Memphis, TN. It was hard to say good-by. Tagged it
gently with our zipcode. Mrs. Sander's 3rd grade class followed its
growth. We really enjoy your website. Thanks.
