Between 11:30 and 12:00 noon we saw a monarch butterfly in our butterfly garden at watkins elementary school. It was a cool clear day and the butterfly flew up and over our building. We have not seen any since although one student who lives on the next street, Lucy Church, saw them in her garden over the weekend, September 26-27.
