On Thursday, Oct 1, 1998 20-30 butterflies were reported in yards in Mystic. We saw 3 -4 butterflies on our bushes here at school.
From Saturday, Sept. 26th - Oct 1st monarchs were spotted all over Connecticut in small numbers but many were spotted on Thursday. Oct. 1st. The two previous weeks brought no monarchs at all. Could this be a second wave coming through? The weather warmed up considerably from the 26th until Oct. 2nd.
