Sorry to be slow in reporting. Since the beginning of September
I have spotted about 100 monarchs, from my home, at Honor Heights
Park and at Cherokee Elementary. Most have been traveling in
a southernly direction, although about 6 or 7 have been going
northwest. (?) Usually there are MANY more than this. I now have my first graders watching for them, as our monarch unit has
just begun. We will keep a closer watch and a better count in
the future.
