Signs of Fall

Date: 10/09/1998

Number: 1

My husband & I sighted a gathering of 25 more scissor-tailed flycatcher birds on the south side of the campus of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (U.S.A.O.) at about 7:10 p.m. They were settling in the tops of some oak trees and catalpa trees. They were flying from the west settling for the night in the trees on campus. The temperature was about 70 degrees with a slight wind.
