My husband & I sighted two monarchs in our back yard today on lantana & sunflowers in our "butterfly garden." They fluttered between the flowers and sitting on the flowers opening and closing their wings.
Later we sighted 5 monarchs in a 30 minute drive between Chickasha, OK and Norman, Oklahoma. They were flying singularly (east) across the highway. We saw one about every 6-7 minutes.
