One lone male monarch was sighted in our butterfly garden around 2 p.m. and it would stop and light upon a zinnia plant or two. It was flying as though it were very tired or lost. It was a bright sunny day, and part of the garden was in the shade. We have a pond in our garden and I was watering the plants.
