Fall is here! The Black Cottonwood trees along the Yakima Riverand Columbia River are golden. The Brewer's Blackbirds are passing through in flocks headed for warmer climates. Northern Flickers have returned to my yard and the Oregon Juncos are at our bird feeders. Today is the first day that winter storm warnings have been posted for the Cascade Mountain Passes. Snow is expected at 4,000 feet. Winter is on the way!
