32 Kindergarteners at Parkview Elementary School in Marquette, Michigan planted 32 Red Emperor tulips as part of the Journey North International Tulip study.
We had blue skies, sunshine and about 50 degrees as we planted. After we planted the sky turned dark and it became very cold - thank goodness the tulip fairies were watching out for us!
We tucked our bulbs in for the winter and look forward to their blooming in the spring.
