Number: 1

We are 4th grade students and we watched for monarchs and other wildlife during our lunch period in our schoolyard sanctuary at West University Elementary. The first day we saw no monarchs and the second day we saw 4. One had a hole in its lower left wing. Three were flying around and one was eating from a butterfly weed. There was a slight breeze; temp. was 32 degrees C; time:
12:15-12:40 p.m.; sky: sunny.
