This is our third year planting tulips. We were able to make more pre-planting observations this year. We determined the mass and circumference of all 45 official bulbs planted and have five extra bulbs that we will use to try some "what if..." planting. We are really looking forward to the spring's surprises. I feel that my students get more out of this project than anything else I have ever done.
