Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/31/1998

Number: 1

The children and I spied a female laying eggs in my garden today. She laid about 8 eggs, that we found. The children said that they thought the butterflies we released in late August had already gone south. Could we be wrong? Could this have been one of our hatchlings? Will she be going south, or is her time on this earth over?
